Washington DC — UK’s Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science advisor to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, claimed House Democrats have refused to allow him to appear alongside former Vice President Al Gore at high profile global warming hearing on Friday April 24, 2009 at 10am in Washington. Monckton told Climate Depot that the Democrats rescinded his scheduled joint appearance at the House Energy and Commerce hearing on Friday. The bigs don’t want a well spoken skeptic like Monckton to sway public opinion. Also Gore does not speak about AGW because supposedly “the science is settled, the debate os over”. In reality he does not speak about it because he always says something wrong and does damage to his cause. He’s a gaff machine. So they were right in censoring Monkton, it was the only thing they could do to help trick those present at the hearing. Well done.
